Measure the length of the attached anchor, and dig a hole in your chosen spot with equivalent depth and width to ensure a right fit. 6. Align the faux cedar vertically over the hole. Gently push the anchor into the ground, applying even pressure until the base of the cedar is at ground level. Check that it can sit still by itself.
