Never use cool water.The child should be seated and should hold a small basin under ear to catch running water. The head should be tilted slightly toward the ear to be irrigated.Gently pull the ear backward and downward to expose the ear canal. The tip of the syringe should be directed slightly upward toward side of ear canal rather than straight back toward the ear drum. Do not let tip of syringe touch or enter ear canal.Squeeze contents gently toward the side of ear canal. Never inject forcefully. Note: When the ear canal is irrigated, the tip of the syringe should not obstruct the flow of water leaving the canal. Clean syringe thoroughly with plain water. Shake out excess water and let air-dry thoroughly.Nasal Aspirator Instructions:Squeeze bulb to expel air.Place nasal tip at one of baby's nostrils.Slowly and gradually release pressure on bulb (do not release all at once). Mucus will flow into nasal tip as bulb expands.Rinse tip and bulb in water.Clear other nostril in same manner. Separate tip from bulb. Wash parts thoroughly in warm soapy water. Note: Use of anything other than plain soapy water may damage product. Warnings If child experiences dizziness, discontinue use.
