Inspired by eyewear designs from the pre war era, the Zephirin sunglasses are an icon of Jacques Marie Mage, capturing the reflective essence of their wearer. This edition also celebrates the composed lustre and refined brilliance of Echizen lacquerware: a 1500 year old Japanese craft shaped by generations of artistry. Production begins with a group of lacquering masters known as nushiya, who then pass each piece to increasingly specialised artisans – each layer building upon the mastery of the last to achieve its vibrant, glossy finish.
