This flavorful Matcha blend is derived from premium Japanese green tea leaves that have been ground into a fine powder.Matcha powder comes from the same plant as green tea the difference is in the growing, harvesting and preparation. Rich, full-bodied matcha is shade-grown, plucked, dried, and ground into a powder for a flavor that is bolder than green tea, which is made from dried leaves. Suggested use Whisk 1 tsp. matcha into 8 oz. steaming water (175F). Whisk briskly until froth appears. To prepare as a latte, use hot milk or milk alternative instead of water, and sweeten to taste. For maximum freshness, store in an air tight container for up to six months after opening.
