Suggested use

Makes one 9 x 5-inch loaf

From your pantry you will need ...

  • 3 eggs 
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray or grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and olive oil. Add mix and included herb packet and stir until evenly combined. Pour into prepared loaf pan and top with melted butter. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Remove from pan and allow to cool before slicing.

Variations ...

  • Incorporate half of the herb packet when mixing the dough and sprinkle the other half on top of the loaf prior to baking.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup lightly toasted pine nuts when combining the wet and dry ingredients.
  • Brush top of loaf with 1 Tbsp. melted butter and sprinkle lightly with kosher salt or freshly grated Parmesan cheese after baking.
