Fiberglass drums are inherently louder than wood drums and the Pearl Doumbek has great projection. Featuring the classic goblet-shape the Pearl Doumbek is 17" tall with a contoured hoop that is smooth and comfortable on the players hands. The 8.5" synthetic plastic head has 8 tuning lugs and includes a hex tuning wrench to achieve high tunings.
