Made with 100% stone-ground buckwheat, this wonderful alternative to cream of wheat or oatmeal can be topped with your favorite fruits,syrup,and sugar for the perfect start to your day!   Directions Basic Directions 1 Serving 2 Servings 4 Servings Water or Milk 1¼ cup 2½ cups 5 cups Salt (optional) dash ½ tsp. ¾ tsp. Cream of Buckwheat® ¼ cup ½ cup 1 cup BOIL: Bring water or milk and salt to boil. STIR in Cream of Buckwheat®. Return to boil. SIMMER: Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 minutes stirring frequently. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: For 1 serving stir ¼ cup of Cream of Buckwheat® and a dash of salt into ¾ cup of water or milk in a 2 to 3 cup bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on medium 1-½ to 3 minutes, depending on microwave wattage. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes.   GRITS: Cream of Buckwheat® makes wonderful grits. Follow directions above. Serve with butter and season to taste.   SPECIAL DIETS AND INFANTS: Infants and individuals on special diets thrive on Cream of Buckwheat® cereal.
