Use it as a side dish, in soups, salads, pilafs, or homemade granola bars! Quinoa is a complete protein, offering the amino acids essential to life. Our quinoa has been rinsed and air-dried to remove the naturally-occuring bitter saponins. Directions Basic Cooking Instructions: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a 2 quart pot. Add 1 cup quinoa and return to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium and simmer until water is absorbed, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat, fluff, cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
