This chess mat meets the World Chess Federation's (FIDE) and the US Chess Federation (USCF) proportions standards for tournament play. This board will fit chessmen with 1.75 to 2 inch diameter base. While we recommend you store it flat or rolled, this floppy chess board only weighs 10 oz. and will easily fold to a compact size for travel. Will also roll to fit a standard chess bag.
