By the end of the fifties Jaguar was one of the most distinguished makes of British car. They represented tradition, but with high performance and polished 24 carat technology. The final worldwide break-through was achieved when, on 15th March 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show, Jaguar exhibited the XK-E, the famous E-Type that was to become a legend.
